Growing up, fitness was never something I imagined would play such a big part in my life.
It started as simply as joining a fitness class at my local gym, which of course, I enjoyed, but I always had that extra interest in what was happening in the room next door, the gym. After a few months of attending said fitness class, I found myself hanging around afterwards and watching people doing their workouts, so eventually, I gave it a go. After that day, I can’t remember looking back. Working out became my thing, I always wanted to be there, I enjoyed watching myself change and I loved the feeling I had after a workout. This is when the interest of the how and why hit me. I WANTED TO KNOW IT ALL! I watched all the bodybuilders I could find, I spoke to people from the gym, and the interest grew stronger. Not long after, I went ahead and competed in my first ever bikini competition, it was a whole new level! I started looking at nutrition, my training styles and how I planned my workout routines. It wasn’t long before people were asking ME to help them!
This was it, this was when I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to help people love working out as much as I did. While still working full time I enrolled at university and came away with my BSc degree in sport and exercise science and soon after setup Aimee Victoria Fitness Personal Training.
Since then, I've loved every single part of my fitness journey, now 5 years on working as a personal trainer, I pride myself on helping others. I love to watch them grow in confidence and self-appreciation when they reach even their short term goals, a new lift, 1 extra press up then they could do before, or just the fact they smiled at themselves in the mirror that morning.
Fitness has become so much more than just a gym workout to me. It has become my biggest passion, I love my job, and I can’t wait to help you!
