My passion for sports and fitness started over 20 years ago as a college basketball player. This love for athletics led to amateur bodybuilding during my service in the US Air Force. Since those early days, my goals have simply been to remain healthy and active and to continue seeking new challenges in the area of sports and fitness. This desire to consistently reach new heights is also what drives my career as a personal trainer and fitness coach. I’m always striving to bring my clients the safest, most effective methods of training in the industry. As a trainer, I’ve had the opportunity to work with all age groups as well as an array of injuries (knee replacements, hip replacement, back surgery, etc.). My programs focus on developing core strength and conditioning that is applicable to every sport and vital for improving ones quality of life.

O.k. Boss Man,
Let me start with “I hate to exercise!”. Well, that was the old me. I have just finished my third year working with Wendell. I only signed up because my sister and best friend guilted me into it. I was only going to do 6 weeks—who can wake up at 5:00 to exercise for longer than that!!?? Here I am 3 years later, still waking up at 5:00 to go work out. No one that knows me can believe it! The best thing about working with Wendell is that you never know what to expect. Every workout is different. I like that even if I don’t like a particular exercise (running, burpees, pull ups!!), there are plenty of other exercises (ball slams, kettle bell swings, rowing machine, etc.) that I do look forward to. I enjoy the challenge of the work outs and the camaraderie I have formed with the others in the class. Tracy
There are many days I don’t really want to work-out, but the boot camp group session is like meeting up with friends with the added bonus of burning calories!

Every year like most of us know I would make the new year resolution to start working out and lose weight. I started working out with Wendell on a one and one personal trainer and then started boot camp one yr later. within two months 0f working out with him I went down to 4 dress sizes. By the seventh month I lost another 3 dress size by the 10th month I went down 2 more and I was down to my goal size and weight. It is true that if "one do the work out on a consistency basis" the results will be very rewarding. I am very happy with the way I look and feel. Geri .
